Warm regards from IKAMA!
The national association for Indonesian graduates of Australia education institutions, Ikatan Alumni Australia, is known as IKAMA or the Australian Alumni Association. It is a non-profit body that aims to build and strengthen the network of Indonesians who have undertaken courses in Australia, to play a significant role in bringing the friendship between Indonesia and Australia and with broader community closer together, as well as facilitating members playing a significant role for national development.
There are many Indonesian nationals who are Australian alumni hold senior positions in both the country’s private and public sectors. They include former ministers, government officials and chief executive officers and president directors. Currently more than 3000 Australian graduates are registered on the IKAMA database, representing a highly valuable human-resource pool of educated Indonesians.
IKAMA has just finished re-designing a new website (www.ikama.or.id). This site provides you complete information about our current and upcoming regular activities held by IKAMA include business gatherings, networking function, dinners, seminars, lecture, workshops, arts performances and sports competitions and social events with other alumni associations.
The site is also facilitating the alumni with Job Vacancy, Message Board and Alumni Search sections as well as online IKAMA G’Day – Newsletter.
